This guide explains how to connect and configure a Lemon product specifically with the Alesis Strata Core. It focuses on the actual zone capability and module-specific connection method rather than generic compatibility claims.

ℹ Important Compatibility Information
Alesis Strata Core: Full compatibility.
🔌 Connection & Setup
Full operation: connect the Lemon hi-hat cymbal and controller to the module’s dedicated hi-hat trigger/control inputs. Run the manufacturer’s hi-hat calibration first, then fine-tune sensitivity, threshold and pedal endpoints if available.
⚙ Recommended Settings
Start with the module’s closest manufacturer trigger preset for the selected pad or cymbal. Get the basic trigger working before changing advanced parameters.
- Sensitivity/Gain: increase if quiet hits are missed; reduce if normal hits overload the trigger.
- Threshold: raise slightly if vibration or nearby pads create false triggers; lower if soft playing is missed.
- Retrigger/Mask: increase only enough to suppress unwanted double-triggering.
- Crosstalk: adjust only after confirming the pad is mechanically secure.
🔧 Troubleshooting
- No trigger: check cable type, input assignment and kit/trigger activation.
- Only one zone: check that the input supports multiple zones and that a TRS cable is being used.
- Wrong zone: verify the input mapping and, on two-input rides, the two cable assignments.
- False triggers: lower sensitivity or raise threshold slightly, then review crosstalk.
- Missed hits: increase sensitivity gradually or reduce threshold.
Verification note: This guide follows Lemon’s current module-by-module support database and compatibility information. Firmware and hardware revisions can affect trigger behaviour, so test the finished setup before changing multiple parameters at once.
