This high-quality drum splitter cable by Unity features a built-in precision resistor, allowing compatible Roland drum modules to recognise two separate single-zone trigger pads from a single dual-trigger input. It’s the ideal solution for adding extra toms, cymbals, or percussion pads while making the most of the available trigger inputs on your module.
Each drum splitter cable is professionally assembled professionally using quality components and high-quality cable to ensure reliable triggering, low noise, and long-lasting performance. The integrated resistor is housed within the assembly, so there’s no need for external adapters or modifications to your drum module. Simple to use; just plug your trigger pads in using regular 6.35mm mono jack cables.
Many Roland drum modules use dual-trigger inputs designed for head/rim or bow/edge triggering. This drum splitter cable uses an internal resistor so the module can correctly identify the second trigger input, allowing two separate single-zone pads to operate independently from one input.
Please note that when using a drum splitter cable, positional sensing, rim triggering, cymbal choke, and other dual-zone functions on the split input are not available. Each side of the splitter functions as an independent single-zone trigger.
This drum splitter cable is compatible with Roland drum modules that support resistor-based trigger splitting, including:
It is also compatible with the following Roland percussion modules:
Compatibility may also extend to other drum module brands and triggers that support resistor-based trigger splitting. Please check your module’s manual or contact us if you’re unsure whether this cable is suitable for your setup.
Get more from your existing drum module and add extra triggers without the expense of upgrading your kit.
